Voice-over artist Mari Okada has always been deeply interested in the art of expression, regardless of its form. And over the years, voice-over work has remained at the very center of her heart.
Born and raised in Düsseldorf, West Germany, she spent her middle school years living between Brussels, Belgium, and West Sussex, England. After high school, she moved to Japan, but following her marriage, she relocated to Rome, Italy, with her family, where she also experienced the COVID-19 lockdown. Eventually, she moved back to Tokyo for the third time.
Her exposure to a variety of languages throughout her life has gifted her with exceptional linguistic sensitivity and an unparalleled ability to absorb and reproduce different languages. Even so, she takes the most pride in being able to approach narration in her native Japanese, a language she deeply cherishes for its beauty and subtle nuances.
Unable to suppress her desire to speak and express herself in front of the microphone, Mari has decided to reignite her career as a voice-over artist.
